Cocoa Beach Surfing Santas Raise Over 40-grand!

Two charities are going to benefit from an event where Saint Nick rides a surfboard instead of a sleigh. The 10th annual Surfing Santas was held Christmas Eve in Cocoa Beach. The Space Coast Office of Tourism says nearly 600 people in Santa Claus outfits showed up and rode waves for a cause. Thousands of spectators were also in attendance. Officials say the event raised about 40-grand that will be distributed to two nonprofits.
