Four-year-old Axel was heading to his first day of pre-K at Augusta Elementary School in Wisconsin. His mom, Amy Johnson, wanted to snap a photo of him, but he was having first-day jitters and wasn’t happy.
But school bus driver Isabel Lane had his back and knew how to help Axel’s nerves. He was crying and his mom had to physically pick him up and put him on the bus, in the seat behind Lane’s. So she reached back and held his hand to comfort him, and that’s when his mom took a sweet photo capturing the act of kindness.
