The U.S. Census is coming next year and today marks census recruitment day around the country, including the Space Coast. The federal government is looking to hire 250,000 people nationwide. The hourly pay rate in Brevard County is set at $16, and workers can be reimbursed for mileage and other work-related expenses as well.
