Effective immediately, all City of Palm Bay playgrounds and the McGriff Park skatepark will be closed to public access until further notice. The temporary closures are intended to protect the health of the citizens of Palm Bay by reducing the chance of COVID-19 exposure.
The City's Parks and Recreation staff will be installing signage regarding the temporary closure and orange perimeter fencing around the City's 17 playgrounds and McGriff Park skatepark. Citizens are asked to refrain from visiting these areas until further notice.
All other parks and trails will remain open for use. Park visitors are asked to follow social distancing guidelines by maintaining a distance of at least 6-feet of space from other guests.
