Brevard County recorded two more deaths from COVID-19 on Monday for a total of six fatalities on the Space Coast due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the latest state Department of Health data.
The latest recorded deaths involved a 94-year-old man and a 91-year-old female. Another two deaths were recorded over the weekend. The other deaths involved a 74-year-old male, a 76-year-old female, a 79-year-old male and an 84-year-old male.
Altogether, Brevard has seen 148 cases of COVID-19; six of those are non-residents. There have been 39 hospitalizations, including two non-residents.
Melbourne with the highest at 46 cases, Palm Bay with 25 cases and Cocoa with 13 cases.
