Brevard gained two new cases of the coronavirus Sunday morning for a total of 252 cases, according to data from the Florida Department of Health.
The city by city count as of Saturday includes (note: some of these may include unincorporated areas):
• Melbourne: 82
• Palm Bay: 40
• Cocoa: 33
• Merritt Island: 21
The Re-Open Florida Task Force has posted a website for residents to submit public comments. The task force says the comments will be a critical component when it comes to reopening the state. You can find the link at FLGov.com/COVID-19.
