A 20-year-old is facing theft charges after he and his friend allegedly stole from a Virginia convenience store while wearing hollowed-out watermelons on their heads.
They pulled up to the store in a 2006 black Toyota Tacoma around 9:30 p.m. wearing the watermelons with holes cut out for the eyes. Justin M. Rogers has been charged with larceny, underage possession of alcohol and petit larceny of alcohol. Police are still trying to identify the second man.
