A worker was rescued Thursday afternoon hours after a trench apparently collapsed at a construction site in Sharpes.
A spokesperson for the Brevard County Sheriff's Office said it took about three hours to rescue the man from the trench. Crews had to fight incoming water while trying to rescue the worker.
