Brevard County will open 3 shelters at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, for residents who live in flood prone or low lying areas.The following shelters will be pet-friendly and available for our special needs and general population: Walter Butler Community Center, 4201 N Cocoa Blvd, Cocoa. Theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Legoland, Busch Gardens and SeaWorld announced they will be closed today and tomorrow. Hotels at Disney and Universal are still open, though, but Disney won't accept any new guests tomorrow.
Port Canaveral announced Tuesday evening that Canaveral Lock will remain closed through Thursday, though it will possibly reopen Friday or Saturday.
