Women's History Month on the Space Coast - Lite Rock 99.3 Spotlights: Jayde George D.O.
A native of Brevard County, Dr. Jayde George, earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida in Tampa. She then went on to Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Her residency was completed in the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency program at Florida Hospital East Orlando where she served as both Chief Resident of her class for first and second year and Program Chief Resident for her third year.
Dr. George is Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is privileged to be able to focus her practice on all ages ranging from newborn to the elderly. She strives to partner with her patients to achieve wellness and quality of life goals by focusing on education, injury and disease prevention.
A passion of Dr. George’s is not only taking care of her patients but helping to improve care for the residents of the Space Coast. She serves as the medical director for virtual health and is also a physician leader in population health and value based care. These roles have allowed her to create innovative ways to care for the community.
She enjoys a variety of hobbies that allow her to spend time in the outdoors including surfing, running, snowboarding and air boating. But her favorite thing to do is spend quality time with her friends and family, especially her husband, daughter and son.
