Great job!
Cocoa police officers are being hailed as heroes with saving a child's life.
It happened Saturday night during a birthday party at the Oak Meadows Apartments. Someone called 911 to report a two-year-old boy drowned in a pool. Officer Kyle McNamara arrived first and started CPR. Officer Christian Pyne wasn’t far behind, and together, the duo did chest compressions until the 2-year-old spit up water, and they felt a pulse. By the time fire-rescue arrived, the boy was conscious and breathing on his own.
The child is expected to make a full recovery.
