WalletHub has just named their Best and Worst Cities for First-Time Homebuyers in 2024.

They compared 300 U.S. cities of differing sizes on 22 metrics related to real estate market, affordability and quality of life.

Topping the list as the best city for first-time homebuyers is Palm Bay, while the worst is Berkeley, California.

Florida is home to six of the top 10 best cities for homebuyers, while eight of the 10 worst cities are in California.
