The 28th Annual Great Brevard Duck Race will be on June 13th at Cocoa Village Riverfront Park. Mindy from Mindy & Company on Lite Rock 99.3 will be emceeing the race.
This popular community event will bring thousands of bright yellow rubber ducks racing down the river to support at-risk and homeless youth across Brevard County.
The event will open at 1PM, featuring:
Live entertainment from local favorites, Family-friendly activities including face painting, bounce houses, and games. Food trucks and local vendors. Community outreach organizations
The main event—the Great Brevard Duck Race - kicks off at 3:30PM, when up to 5,000 ducks will be released into the water in a thrilling race to the finish!

Community members can “adopt” a duck for just $5 for a chance to win exciting prizes:
1st Place: $2,500.00
2nd Place: $1,500.00
3rd Place: $1,000.00
4th Place: $500.00
5th Place: $250.00
Every duck adoption directly supports the life-changing programs of Crosswinds Youth Services, which provides emergency shelter, counseling, and critical support services for vulnerable youth in the community.
This year event introduces the Duck Derby Challenge, where businesses, schools, churches, and community groups compete to adopt the most ducks.
