Tiffany Haddish Cries Buckets Meeting Her Idol Oprah On 'Ellen Show'

On Thursday's (Feb. 22) episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Tiffany Haddish got a big surprise from the talk show host and another special guest: Oprah!

While appearing on the show, Haddish began speaking about how much Oprah meant to her. The comedian revealed that she was an extra years ago in the movie "Their Eyes Were Watching God," which Oprah produced. When the media mogul heard Haddish cracking jokes and making people around her laugh on set, Oprah told her that she was really funny and that she wanted Haddish to write her letters to keep in touch.

However, the comedian told DeGeneres that Oprah never replied back to any of the notes. Then, out of the blue, DeGeneres called the media titan out onstage and Haddish completely lost it! She began hugging and crying Oprah. It was such a cute moment to watch. Oprah would then tell the "Girls Trip" star how proud she was of her amazing come up.

Haddish later posted about the touching moment on Instagram. "SO JUST SO YALL KNOW I POSTED IT THREE TIMES BECAUSE I AM THAT DAMN HAPPY!" she said on social media. "YES! YES! YES I CRIED AND YES I ASKED HER TO BE MY AUNTIE! SO ALL THANKS BE TO GOD FOR ALWAYS COMING THRU YOU HEAR MY PRAYS AND ANSWER ACCORDINGLY AMEN!" Check that message out below and the video above.
