November 16 - Space Coast Feline Network will be holding its annual dinner and silent auction fundraiser “Tropical Feline Escape” on Saturday, at the Space Coast Holiday Inn Convention Center, 301 Tucker Lane, Cocoa, Florida with proceeds going to SCFN’s programs, including its low/no-cost spay/neuter program for community cats. November 23 - The One Blood bus will be parked in the Bank of America parking lot at 333 5th Ave. in Indialantic. The drive runs from 10a-3p. Every donor will get a free blanket and a $10 eGiftCard. Folks can also drop off toys for our Toys for Tots drive.

November 23 - Apollo 12 Moon Day & Cosmic Christmas Yard Sale from 10am – 8pm Make it an early “Black Friday” & “Giving Tuesday” BOTH by shopping in the gift shop or at the Cosmic Christmas Yard Sale, finding great space related and other gifts at terrific prices, and support our non-profit in the process! In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 12 moon landing, we will have many family friendly activities, special speakers and question and answer sessions, ending with an urban stargazing event in our front parking lot with telescopes generously provided for anyone and everyone's use by the Brevard Astronomical Society.

November 23 - Open House at Green Gables at Historic Riverview Village from 10 am - 2 pm. Located at 1501 S. Harbor City Boulevard, Melbourne. You will tour this unique home built in 1896, one of only three Queen Anne style home remaining in the area. Enjoy the acre and a half of lush green space right on the Indian River, while learning how this home is about Melbourne's own bridge to the past and its legacy. November 23 - The League of Women Voters of the Space Coast will host a workshop on the Sunshine Law scheduled at the Suntree Country Club from 8:30 am until 12:00 noon. The event is designed to meet the needs of community volunteers working on city councils, boards, and advisory committees. Public officials, city and county employees and the public are welcome to attend. Event cost is $20.00 for members, $25.00 for non-members and includes light refreshments. December 7 - 2pm “The Bible On Parade" Celebrates The Christ of Christmas for the 30th Year. The parade will begin at the Melbourne Auditorium. More than 45 churches and ministries unite to lift Jesus up. Costumed characters, floats, musical presentations and storytellers. There will be free pizza, cake and drinks, live music and presentations. December 20 - Top Bakers Showdown. Time: 6:00PM – 8:00PM. Age: Ages 6-17 years. Calling all bakers! Various Neighborhood Watch groups to compete at who will be the best baking group in the community, there will be holiday cookies given to youth and a trophy given to the best neighborhood group. On Going Events:

The Brevard Schools Foundation is collecting hygiene products during the month of October to benefit low-income and homeless students in Brevard Public Schools. All supplies collected will be put into the Supply Zone for Teachers’ new Hygiene Section, which is set to open mid-November. The public is invited to drop off hygiene donations at any of the ten public drop-off sites. The Supply Zone will continue to accept hygiene donations year-round at their facility, located within Clearlake Education Center in Cocoa. 617-7727
