Shaquille O’Neal will debut his second Big Chicken restaurant aboard Carnival Cruise Line’s newest cruise ship, the Mardi Gras. The Mardi Gras will homeport at Port Canaveral’s new Cruise Terminal 3 starting in October 2020. Big Chicken is the brainchild of O’Neal, who was named Carnival’s Chief Fun Officer. The ocean-going restaurant will offer all-inclusive breakfast, lunch and dinner menus based on O’Neal’s family traditions.
The new Cruise terminal 3, dubbed the “Launch Pad,” will be home of the 180,000-ton XL-class Mardi Gras, the cruise line’s newest and most innovative ship, beginning in 2020.
