A new report shows there is an increase in Florida children being charged with making school-related threats.
The Department of Juvenile Justice launched a new awareness campaign yesterday.
They say 779 youths were charged with offenses relating to school threats in the 2018-19 fiscal year... which is up from 687 in 2017-18 and 629 in 2016-17.
The department says their "It's No Joke" campaign is an effort to educate children on how serious threats about bombs and firearms are in the state.
