Parkland Parents Turn Grief Into Activism

Parents of the Parkland victims are still processing the massacre two years later. Many turning their grief into activism. Lori Alhadeff , who lost her 14-year-old daughter Alyssa, became a Broward School Board member and is trying to get state lawmakers to pass "Alyssa's Law" requiring silent panic alarms in every school. Ryan Petty, who lost his 14-year-old daughter Alaina, was appointed to the State Board of Education last month. He says he would give Broward Schools a "D" on a security report. Petty also serves on the MSD public safety commission.
