Nicole Schmatolla, an English language arts teacher at Titusville High, was recently nominated for Brevard Public Schools “Heart of Brevard” recognition.
Schmatolla has been teaching at Titusville High School since 2005, primarily in the English department, teaching grades 9-12, regular Honors and AP courses, but she has also taught German.
For all these years she has sponsored the Literary Magazine, encouraging students to write for pleasure and publish their works.
