Brevard County's 2nd COVID-19 Case Sends Some Northrop Grumman Workers Home

Brevard County's second COVID-19 case caused Northrop Grumman to send home some workers in its Melbourne facility after an employee tested positive.

Northrop spokesman Tim Paynter said in a statement Wednesday afternoon that the employee has been quarantined and is receiving treatment. Workers in "workspaces the employee visited" were sent home so that the facility could be sanitized.

As of 5:15 pm yesterday, Brevard had tested 13 people: six negative, two positive, five pending.
