A man was transported to a local hospital after being bitten by what Brevard County firefighters described as a “toothy sea creature” on Cocoa Beach.Paramedics responded to the beach between North First Street and North Second Street around 10 a.m. Tuesday. The person's injuries were described as non-life-threatening. Beaches have been closed except for exercise-related activities, such as jogging and surfing.
