Brevard: Hammock Landing Mall Owner Files for Bankruptcy due to COVID-19

The owner of the Hammock Landing shopping complex in West Melbourne has filed for bankruptcy amid the COVID-19 pandemic, as brick-and-mortar retailers struggle and Amazon's sales soar.

According to a CBL fact sheet, "each property will remain open to serve customers throughout the restructuring process and visitors to our properties will not notice any change in our operations" during the bankruptcy process.
