March 29th Floridians age 40+ can get COVID-19 vaccine, April 5th age 18+

All adult Floridians will be able to get the COVID vaccine starting April 5th. That means anyone 18 or older can register to get the shot. Governor Ron DeSantis tweeted yesterday that residents age 40 and over can get the shot starting Monday. DeSantis says the state's COVID cases and hospitalizations have "plummeted" amid vaccination efforts and he wants to "keep that momentum" going. Residents can register at more than 16-hundred retail pharmacies or 100 county-run vaccination sites for their appointment.
