Body camera video shows Palm Bay police officers rescuing a pregnant woman from a sinking car in a canal off of Bayside Lakes Blvd. on Dec. 26th.
According to the Palm Bay Police Department, officers were responding to reports of downed powerlines when they heard banging coming from the canal and found a car upside down, submerged in the water, with a pregnant woman inside.
The video shows one officer grabbing a baseball bat from his patrol car and running to the water. Moments later officers are seen pulling the pregnant woman from what appears to be the back of the vehicle.
