The SAT's Are Going Digital

Starting in 2024, the SAT test will be going all digital and will be shortened.

News broke as the College Board says, this move will help alleviate the stress that comes along with this college entrance exam.

The new version will take about two hours compared to the current time of three hours. The reading passages will also be shorter, and students will be allowed to use a calculator on the math portion of the test.

"The digital SAT will be easier to take, easier to give, and more relevant," said Priscilla Rodriguez, VP of College Readiness Assessments at College Board.

This decision comes as many universities have begun to fade out the SAT requirement.
