Arizona Wildcats Upset After Being Left Out Of NCAA Final Four Promo Video

Arizona v Indiana

The Arizona Wildcats are upset after being left out of an NCAA Women's Final four promotional video, reported ESPN.

The team made it to its first Women's Final Four, but weren't included in a promotional video for the event that the NCAA posted on social media.

The video had clips of the other three teams that made it to the Final Four, which were South Carolina, Stanford, and UConn. The video showed clips of the teams during team photo shoots, but there was no Arizona in sight.

Arizona senior guard Aari McDonals said, "I rewatched it a couple of times. It was frustrating. I definitely took it as a sign of disrespect."

According to ESPN, NCAA said they never intended on leaving the team out of the video, and that when they realized their error, the video was deleted from Twitter. NCAA apologized to the school.

According to an Arizona spokesman, an apology was sent via direct message to the team's Twitter account, which is who questioned the video in the beginning.

An NCAA spokeswoman said in a statement, "We will continue to work hard to recognize all four of the Women's Final Four teams for their incredible runs and remarkable seasons."

Arizona's head coach Adia Barnes said, "Those are things that get missed, sometimes, and shouldn't be. Because there are four teams that worked really hard to get here. stuff like that shouldn't happen."
