Going Without A Vacation

IHG Hotels & Resorts found that four in 10 of us said the past year is the longest we have ever gone without a vacation – taking a toll on our overall mood and wellbeing. They found that prior to the pandemic, we would have enjoyed a vacation or mini break from our daily routine every four months. But in the past year, most of us have had to cancel three or more planned breaks.

This has affected people’s wellbeing though with 49 percent believing that trips away positively impact our physical and mental health.

An optimistic 57 percent plan to or have already rebooked trips, with family holidays and visiting loved ones topping travel wish lists for 2021.
