United Way Brevard announces it reached over $6 million! United Way officials announced yesterday that they raised over 6 million during its 2018 campaign will benefit more than 60 programs at 40 partner agencies in the county including things like childcare, reading programs, disaster relief, sharing centers, domestic violence programs, meals for the elderly and many more.
Harris Corporation and its employees were the largest contributors, raising over $1.5 million with Publix Super Markets and its associates again close behind in the million dollar circle in donations. The prestigious 2019 Chairman’s Award went to Space Coast Credit Union for excellence in corporate citizenship.
