One of mankind's greatest achievements blasted off a half-century ago today, when the Apollo 11 mission launched from Cape Canaveral, bound for the moon. Today, surviving Apollo 11 crew members Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins are reuniting at the Kennedy Space Center as special events are held across the country to mark the occasion.
