Mar-a-Lago Intruder Trial Continues

The trial of a Chinese woman accused of trespassing at Mar-a-Lago is underway.

Defendant Yujing Zhang gave a 20 second opening statement telling jurors yesterday "I don't believe I did anything wrong and that's what I want to say. U.S.A., thank you."

Zhang is representing herself, even after the judge in the case has repeatedly offered to provide her with the defense attorneys she was given by the federal government and whom she had fired.

Zhang told the judge that she didn't know why she was in the court room and that she wasn't prepared because she thought the trial had been canceled. Judge Roy Altman, who has accused the woman of "playing games," told her "you know precisely why you are here."

Secret Service agents say she lied to gain access to President Trump's Palm Beach estate while he was in town in March and was found carrying four cellphones, two Chinese passports and a thumb drive containing malware.
