A woman in Palm Beach County has a lot of reasons to be happy. One million of them to be exact.
The Florida Lottery says 42-year old Dorothy McBride claimed a $1 million prize from the Billion Dollar Gold Rush Supreme scratch off game.
The ticket was purchased at the 7 Days Food Mart in Royal Palm Beach. The retailer will be getting a bonus of $2,000.
McBride has chosen to take the lump sum payment of $880,000, rather than receiving the full million over time.
