Join Mike & Mindy as they host the Brevard Humane Society’s 6th Annual “Tuxes & Tails Gala” on August 26th at the Space Coast Convention Center!
This year’s event celebrates Brevard Humane Society’s 65 years of service and sanctuary to thousands of homeless animals in the county. Masters of Ceremonies Mike & Mindy of Lite Rock 99.3 FM will be joined by auctioneer Greg Pallone of Channel 13. Honorary hosts Tom and Susie (“Sloane” Rivers) Wasdin will greet guests on the red carpet. Other entertainment will be provided by performers of the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse and a “Catnip Carpet” pet walk. A “Big Bling” raffle and buffet dinner round out the evening, with recognition of the “Humane Heroes” in our community.
Founded in 1952 and celebrating 65 years serving the homeless animals in our community, the Brevard Humane Society is the oldest established animal welfare organization in Brevard County. The Brevard Humane Society is dedicated to speaking for those who can’t speak for themselves and is a “no kill for space” shelter that works tirelessly to educate the community on responsible pet ownership and humane treatment of animals. They advocate spaying or neutering of animals to reduce the homeless pet population and provide a sanctuary for animals with the best quality care until they are placed in “forever homes.” For tickets, call 636-3343.
