Ragu RECALL!!

Some varieties of Ragu pasta sauce are being recalled over worries the bottles could contain pieces of plastic. Ragu's owner Mizkhan America said the voluntary recall affects bottles of Chunky Tomato, Garlic and Onion sauce and its Old World Style Traditional and Meat sauces. So far, there haven't been any reports of plastic causing any injuries, but the company said people shouldn't use the sauce out of an abundance of caution. 

The affected products are:

  • 45-ounce chunky tomato, garlic & onion, with a June 6, 2020, best-by date
  • 66-ounce chunky tomato, garlic & onion, with a June 5, 2020, best-by date
  • 66-ounce chunky tomato, garlic & onion, with a June 6, 2020, best-by date
  • 66-ounce old world style traditional, with a June 4, 2020, best-by date
  • 66-ounce old world style meat, with a June 5, 2020, best-by date

Consumers who have purchased the recalled RAGU sauces with the outlined cap codes should call 800-328-7248 to receive a replacement.
