A Florida man was caught sneaking around his neighborhood tampering with the city’s electric scooters that were parked on the streets. Fort Lauderdale police weren’t thrilled to hear this. Thankfully, police posted a surveillance video showing a man walking up to an electrical scooter, slapping a white sticker on its QR code and cutting its brake lines, making it impossible to use. He didn't stop with just one either. The suspect damaged more than 140 scooters in the area. When officers arrested Randall Williams, he had two sets of wire cutters, a pair of hand-held lock pliers, and he was wearing a glove. He was booked on charges of criminal mischief, resisting officers, and loitering or prowling.
