UPDATE!!! FBI says Wallace was not the target of a hate crime!

NASCAR is showing solidarity with driver Bubba Wallace. On Monday, several drivers and crew members pushed Wallace's car to the starting line prior to the Geico 500 race in Talladega. Wallace is NASCAR's only black driver. This comes after a noose was found in his garage stall on Sunday. ESPN reports that the FBI has joined the investigation along with NASCAR officials.

UPDATE: NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace is reacting to the FBI probe into the noose found in his garage. The FBI concluded Tuesday that Wallace was not the target of a hate crime after a rope tied into a loop was found hanging in his race garage over the weekend. The report concluded that the rope had been in the garage since late last year. Hours later, Wallace appeared on CNN and said he was mad "because people are trying to test my character and the person that I am and my integrity." He disagreed with claims that the noose was actually a pull rope for the garage door, and called it "a straight-up noose."
