Enterprise Elementary in Cocoa is closed for the rest of the week due to "expanded cases" of COVID-19, Brevard Public Schools said in a news release Wednesday.
The school district is asking parents not to bring their children to the school Thursday or Friday, and students will be temporarily moved to distance or virtual learning while the campus is closed, the release said.
Students are expected to be able to return to campus Monday, but officials will convene Sunday afternoon to determine whether to extend the closure.
There will be no bus service to the school or before or aftercare Thursday or Friday, the release said. Families can still pick up student meals in the car loop between 10 a.m. and noon.
