Two Tips To Prevent Laptop Headaches!

Here are some suggestions on how to fix it:

  • Sit perpendicular to a window. Having a window in front of you or at your back is not ideal. Instead, you should be sitting perpendicular to the window so there’s less glare on your screen, and less light bouncing into your eyes.
  • Use fabric and shades. Lighting designer Deborah Gottesmanhighly recommends hanging “a sheer fabric or something that is somewhat translucent” on the window if you have no choice but to sit facing it. But if you already have blinds she says to “tip them up when the sun is coming through, rather than down, so the light goes up to the ceiling and then reflects down.”Basically the less direct light you get to your eyes, the better off your head will be.
