Women's History Month on the Space Coast - Lite Rock 99.3 Spotlights: Chris Kern, CFRE Vice President, Foundation and Community Benefit Health First Foundation
Chris is responsible for Health First Foundation’s fundraising programs and community engagement initiatives as well as departmental operations, donor relations, advancement services.
Chris joined the Health First Foundation team in 2015 - bringing with her over 20 years of professional fundraising experience at both the independent and higher education levels.
She earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation in 2017 which ensures the highest industry standards worldwide for ethics, competence and service in the fundraising profession.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a Master’s in Educational Administration from University of Missouri – St. Louis. Chris is a member of AHP (Association of Healthcare Philanthropy) and has attended the national AHP conference.
Chris is a graduate of Leadership Brevard and serves on the Board of LEAD Brevard and Junior Achievement of the Space Coast.
