This interchange will perform three key functions:
■ First, it will relieve traffic on heavily congested Eau Gallie Blvd and US 192.
■ Second, it will provide I-95 travelers a direct route to the Orlando Melbourne International Airport, benefiting Brevard’s high-tech industry and allowing them to compete on a global level.
■ Third, by connecting with the new section of the St. John’s Heritage Parkway, it provides another north-south travel route and helps alleviate congestion from roads from Malabar to Ellis.
